Anna and the French Kiss - Stephanie Perkins I don't know if this was better or worse or the same as Lola. I just know I love it. I normally really don't read chick-lit. I don't. Paranormal romance, sure, but chick-lit? No thank you. Then I found Stephanie Perkins. I am still sad that I read Lola before I read Anne - I knew how it would end, even though it probably was easy to guess the ending from the beginning. But still.

Stephanie Perkins can spin a love-story. Oh God how she can. As I read this book, I felt myself fall in love with EtiƩnne. I felt myself being drawn into him, thinking he was the most wonderful guy in this whole world. And his humor. And the conversations. Oh God.

I would never be able to give this book a fair review. I wouldn't. I loved it, and I would recommend it for any girl, even girls who don't believe they will dig the chick-lit. Because maybe they will find themselves falling in love with this story, just as I did.
